Seneca Holdings, LLC is the investment arm of the Seneca Nation of Indians, and has unique sovereign advantages that help to create value for our stakeholders. Seneca Holdings, LLC was founded with a broad mandate: to diversify the Seneca Nation’s revenue streams beyond the gaming and tobacco industries and to usher in a new era of nation and region building.

The Seneca Nation of Indians, one of the six nations of the Iroquois Confederacy, continues to occupy sovereign land set aside by the Treaty of Canandaigua in 1794. It traditionally controlled trade and protected the Western territories, earning the title “Keeper of the Western Door.” The Seneca Nation currently has over 7,700 enrolled members, holds title to five territories in Western New York, including territories in Niagara Falls and Buffalo, and operates a $1.1 billion economy that employs more than 6,300 people, native and not.
